The verdict

A price is data. A decision is a product.

PriceHerald combines the recorded history and your target into a verdict, then shows the signals behind it.

Three score-based decisions

  • Wait
  • Fair price
  • Buy now

For an in-stock product with enough history, the score gives “buy now” from 60 and “fair price” from 40. Target reached, lowest recorded, out of stock and already purchased are reported separately.

The verdict shows on the product page, in the tracked-product list and in your collections.

Three steps, once

You paste, we watch, we call it

No extension required. Start with one product-page link.

  1. Paste the product URL

Twelve merchants have dedicated extraction, plus generic extraction for common Shopify themes. Elsewhere, PriceHerald tries generic extraction and tells you plainly when it fails.

  2. We record successful price detections

Checks run on your plan's cadence: every 24 hours on Free, every 6 hours on Pro. Failed extraction never creates a price; repeated failures back off, without extending beyond a 24-hour retry interval.

  3. We tell you what to do

Buy now or wait — a score out of 100 from where the price sits in the recorded history, the 14-day trend, the gap to the 30-day average and your target price. The reasons are shown.

Coverage that names its limits

Elsewhere, PriceHerald may try generic extraction. The add flow only confirms tracking after a detected result; failed or unsupported pages remain visible as failures.

Everything around the decision

Alerts, history and merchant comparison serve the verdict, not the other way round.

HistoryThe whole price story

Each new price detected during a check is recorded, and the curve stays readable across the history we keep. Today's price means nothing without the months before it.

Track my first product

The questions that remain

What to know before creating an account.

Is PriceHerald really free?

Yes. Free tracks 3 products, checked every 24 hours, and no credit card is asked for. Pro moves to 100 products and checks every 6 hours. The product is in early access: the plans and their limits will be reworked before it opens publicly.

Which sites are supported?

Twelve merchants have dedicated extraction — Amazon, Fnac, Cdiscount, Rakuten, Boulanger, Leroy Merlin, Back Market, ManoMano, eBay, StockX, AliExpress, Troostwijk — plus generic extraction for common Shopify themes. For other pages, the add flow shows the analysis result before tracking is confirmed.

How do alerts work?

You set a target price and your channels. Email is available on every plan, Telegram and Discord from Pro, webhook on Business. When a scheduled check records the event, an alert is queued for configured delivery. Cadence follows the plan: 24 hours on Free, 6 on Pro, 1 on Business. PriceHerald never invents a price between two checks.

Is my data safe?

Portable JSON export and password-confirmed account deletion, both in settings. Audience measurement is optional: off until you explicitly accept, revocable afterwards. Details and current limitations are on the Privacy page.

What does PriceHerald add beyond a price chart?

PriceHerald produces a score out of 100 from where the price sits in its recorded history (40%), the 14-day trend (25%), the gap to the 30-day average (20%) and your target price (15%). It then shows the resulting verdict and reasons.

Can I track an out-of-stock item?

Yes, when stock status can be extracted. Back in stock is an alert event like a price drop.

Do I need an extension?

No. Everything currently offered works in the web app. The browser extension is not required and is not advertised as publicly distributed yet.

Do I need to sign in regularly?

Yes, now and again. After 30 days without a sign-in, automatic tracking pauses — we email you ten days beforehand, and a single sign-in resumes it immediately. It is what keeps us from scraping products nobody is watching any more.
